ZOFF Foods has launched “Know The Brand,” a purpose-led campaign that pushes consumers to look past price and packaging when buying whole spices – and ask harder questions about what’s actually inside.

Timed ahead of the festive season, the quick-commerce-first digital campaign taps into a long-standing concern in India’s spice industry: adulteration. Rather than leaning on brand familiarity or reassurance, #KnowTheBrand encourages buyers to scrutinise sourcing, cleaning, testing, and packaging processes before adding a product to their cart – treating those questions as part of the purchase decision itself, not an afterthought.
The campaign is fronted by ZOFF’s digital ambassador, Chef Natasha Gandhi, and built around the line “Sawaal karo! Humse bhi!”- inviting consumers to hold ZOFF itself to the same standard it’s asking them to apply elsewhere.
Speaking on the thinking behind the campaign, Co-founder Akash Agrawalla said India remains one of the world’s largest spice producers and exporters, yet still grapples with purity and quality issues the category hasn’t fully solved. He noted that since entering the space in 2018, ZOFF has prioritised technology and quality control, and now wants transparency – not promises – to become the basis of consumer trust.
The broader goal is behavioural: turning a single moment of questioning into a recurring habit before every spice purchase. It’s also a notable positioning bet – asking to be scrutinised, rather than simply trusted, at a time when quick-commerce has made impulse buying easier than ever.
