Zomato Enters Structured Nutrition Space with Multi-Day Healthy Meal Subscriptions

Zomato has launched Healthy Subscriptions, a new feature under its Healthy Mode vertical designed to offer users curated, multi-day meal plans from health-focused restaurant partners. The service is currently available in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru.

Announced by Sahibjeet Singh Sawhney, Head of Marketing at Zomato, the feature enables users to subscribe to 3-day, 5-day, or 15-day meal plans, with per-meal pricing beginning at approximately Rs 250 for the longest-duration option. Subscribers may choose between lunch and dinner slots, with flexibility to reschedule deliveries, swap dishes, or customise their plan at any point during the subscription period. All meals are high-protein options sourced from restaurants already listed under the Healthy Mode filter on the app.

As a launch incentive, Zomato is offering subscribers who complete their first plan a complimentary one-month Cult Elite membership. The launch builds on the platform’s sustained health-focused strategy, which began with the introduction of Healthy Mode in October 2024. Since then, the vertical has recorded over 10 million orders, with a significant share of users adopting it as their default app setting.

The development comes after Zomato discontinued its home-style meal service, Zomato Everyday, in 2025, following its 2023 launch targeting metro office-goers. Competitors are also active in this space – Swiggy has introduced EatRight across more than 50 cities, while established players such as FoodDarzee and EatFit continue to offer personalised, diet-specific subscription plans.
