Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP has expanded its strategic partnership with Google Cloud to deliver advanced, AI-powered cybersecurity solutions for Indian enterprises and public sector organizations. Under the enhanced collaboration, Deloitte India will operate as a Premier Partner, reseller, and Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) for Google Cloud in the country.
The alliance brings together Deloitte’s global cybersecurity advisory and managed services expertise with Google Cloud’s AI-driven security operations portfolio. It aims to help organisations address growing cyber risks arising from rapid digital transformation, stricter regulatory requirements, and an increasingly AI-enabled threat environment. The solutions are designed to be cloud-native, scalable, and compliant with India’s evolving regulatory landscape.
As part of the partnership, Deloitte will support clients in modernising Security Operations Centres (SOCs), migrating legacy systems to the cloud, and adopting security-as-a-service models. This approach is expected to improve threat detection and response capabilities, enhance data protection, and reduce reliance on large in-house security teams.
Key Google Cloud security offerings to be deployed include Google Security Operations for real-time threat detection and managed response, Google Cloud Cybershield™ for government and critical infrastructure defence, and Google Threat Intelligence powered by Mandiant, VirusTotal, and Google insights.
The collaboration focuses on sectors such as BFSI, energy, manufacturing, consumer businesses, large conglomerates, and government bodies. It also supports compliance with Indian regulations including RBI, SEBI, IRDA, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA), and global standards like GDPR.
By leveraging AI, automation, and natural language-based security investigations, the partnership seeks to shift cybersecurity from a reactive function to a proactive, intelligence-driven defence model tailored to India’s needs.
