National Geographic Creative Works has partnered with vivo India to launch an original four-part wildlife series titled Go Into the Wild, spotlighting mobile wildlife photography and immersive visual storytelling. The series explores some of India’s most remote and biodiverse regions, blending technology with nature-led narratives.
Go Into the Wild follows four wildlife photographers, including National Geographic Explorer Sandesh Kadur, as they journey through challenging terrains such as Ladakh and the Western Ghats. Each episode documents their on-ground experiences, capturing the realities of fieldwork, environmental challenges, and close encounters with diverse species and habitats across varying climatic conditions.
The entire series has been filmed using the vivo X300 Pro smartphone, showcasing the potential of mobile photography in demanding outdoor and wildlife environments. Episodes feature a mix of behind-the-scenes moments and visually rich footage of landscapes, flora, fauna, and natural ecosystems, highlighting how smartphone imaging can support professional-grade visual storytelling.
Commenting on the collaboration, a National Geographic India spokesperson said that the series represents an evolution of the brand’s legacy in visual storytelling. By combining renowned photographers with advanced mobile imaging technology, the partnership aims to push creative boundaries and offer audiences an authentic window into the wild.
Geetaj Channana, head of Corporate Strategy at vivo India, said the collaboration reflects vivo’s mission to inspire exploration and creativity through technology. He added that the X300 Series is designed to perform in extreme conditions, including low light, expansive landscapes, and fast-moving wildlife.
Go Into the Wild premiered on 9 January and will air weekly on Fridays at 7 PM on National Geographic, bringing wildlife storytelling and mobile innovation together on screen.
