NDTV has rolled out a refreshed identity for its Hindi news channel, NDTV India, anchoring it around the idea of “Bharat Ka Vishwas.” The move signals more than a design update-it’s a strategic push to reinforce trust in an era of fast, fragmented news consumption.
The revamp spans on-air presentation, digital platforms, and the channel’s overall visual language. From typography to motion graphics, every element has been reworked to prioritise clarity, speed, and ease of navigation-aimed at audiences who want sharp, reliable updates without visual clutter.
At its core, the repositioning reflects a shift in how news is being consumed. With misinformation rising and attention spans shrinking, NDTV India is betting on credibility as its strongest differentiator. The new identity is designed to make storytelling more immediate while maintaining editorial depth.
Rahul Kanwal, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of NDTV, described the change as a response to a transforming India, emphasising that “Bharat Ka Vishwas” is not just a tagline but a responsibility. Managing Editor Rohit Vishwakarma highlighted that the update balances reinvention with the channel’s long-standing values.
From a brand lens, Marketing Head Gaurav Barjatya pointed to trust as the defining currency in today’s media landscape. Supporting this, Creative Consultant Jofree Shimray noted that the redesign focuses on reducing clutter and enhancing readability across both TV and digital screens.
