Navi UPI Accelerates Storytelling with ‘Hurrypur’ Pit Stop Film

Navi has unveiled a new campaign film under its ongoing ‘Hurrypur’ platform, turning an everyday breakdown into a high-speed spectacle to reinforce its core message-speed in digital payments.

Conceptualised by Sideways Consulting and produced by Early Man Film, the film is set during the cricket season, tapping into the cultural pulse of fast-paced action and entertainment.

The narrative opens with an autorickshaw breaking down mid-journey. What follows is an unexpected twist-the scene transforms into a stylised Formula 1-style pit stop, where mechanics swarm the vehicle and fix it within seconds. The sequence is set in ‘Hurrypur,’ a fictional world where time is treated as the ultimate currency and speed defines everyday life.

Backed by a track from Baalti, the film uses rhythm and vibrant visuals to mirror the urgency and seamlessness Navi aims to deliver through its UPI services. Instead of a traditional product demonstration, the campaign leans into storytelling-using exaggerated, relatable situations to highlight the importance of quick, frictionless experiences.

According to MD & CEO Rajiv Naresh, the idea behind Hurrypur is to creatively showcase the brand’s obsession with speed and efficiency. Adding to this, Abhijit Avasthi, founder of Sideways, noted that the film builds on the success of earlier narratives while pushing the concept into more entertaining territory.

With this campaign, Navi continues to blend culture, creativity, and commerce-proving that even a breakdown can be fast-forwarded.
