Rediffusion Unveils ‘Narrative’ to Strengthen Branded Storytelling Play

Independent advertising agency Rediffusion has announced the launch of Rediffusion Narrative, a dedicated creative content division designed to help brands connect with audiences through integrated storytelling. Introduced during Baisakhi, the initiative marks the agency’s strategic expansion into long-format, narrative-led branded content tailored for the digital-first era.

The new division will focus on producing branded entertainment across formats such as web series, microdramas, and other story-driven content experiences aimed at modern Indian audiences. Its initial slate already includes a 20-part web series for a major OTT platform, alongside more than 10 microdrama titles currently in development for leading brands.

Rediffusion Chairman and Managing Director Dr. Sandeep Goyal described the move as a natural evolution for the agency, highlighting storytelling as the future of brand communication. He emphasized that Rediffusion Narrative is built to create stories that not only capture attention but also drive emotional connection with consumers.

The division will be led by media and broadcast veteran Ambica Kuthiala, who brings over 35 years of experience in content creation and branded entertainment. She will oversee day-to-day operations and spearhead the creative vision of the new entity.

Amitabh Nanda, who will supervise the venture, stressed that in an age of endless content choices, compelling storytelling remains the most effective way for brands to engage meaningfully with audiences.

The company also introduced a distinct visual identity for Rediffusion Narrative, featuring a galloping horse formed through flowing colorful lines – symbolising creative momentum, energy, and forward movement.

Looking ahead, Rediffusion Narrative is already building its content pipeline through collaborations with top OTT platforms and major FMCG brands, signalling its ambition to redefine branded storytelling in India’s evolving media landscape.
