Birla Opus Paints has announced actor Sreeleela as its brand ambassador, marking the latest step in the brand’s ongoing effort to build a contemporary, consumer-facing identity under its ‘Naye Zamane Ka Naya Paint’ philosophy.
Alongside the announcement, the brand has released two new campaign films featuring Sreeleela alongside veteran actors Lillete Dubey and Sheeba Chaddha, as part of its expanding ‘Main Bhi…’ campaign platform. Set in a shopping mall and a metro station – two quintessentially urban, everyday environments – the films spotlight key product features including stain protection and scratch-resistant wood finishes. Rather than relying on technical claims, the campaign communicates performance through humour and relatable consumer situations, leveraging the power of organic word-of-mouth as a storytelling device.
Inderpreet Singh, Head of Marketing, Birla Opus Paints, said: “Bringing Sreeleela on board felt like a natural extension of our journey. Her rising prowess and strong audience connect align well with our philosophy. As we continue to scale the ‘Main Bhi…’ thought, our focus remains on showcasing product performance in a way that feels real and rooted in everyday experiences.”
Sreeleela added: “Keeping things simple and real is what stood out to me the most about the brand. I am happy to be part of Birla Opus’s vision of adding beauty to people’s lives.”
The campaign reflects the brand’s strategy of pairing aspirational talent with grounded storytelling – making paint performance feel personal, relevant, and impossible to overlook in daily life.
