Axis Bank has launched a new integrated campaign for its NRI Banking Services, centred on the idea that physical distance doesn’t have to mean emotional absence. Built around the thought “Far Away But Never Apart,” the campaign explores how NRIs continue to stay involved in the lives of their families in India – and how Axis Bank’s Relationship Managers help make that possible.
Conceptualised by TBWA\Lintas, the campaign tells two stories. In one, a son uses Axis Bank’s home financing solutions to help his father find companionship and a renewed sense of belonging. In the other, a daughter arranges her mother’s medical care in India, coordinating with her Relationship Manager and accessing funds digitally from overseas.
Anoop Manohar, CMO of Axis Bank, said the campaign was built on the insight that NRIs’ careers may take them abroad, but their sense of responsibility toward home rarely follows suit. He said the intent was to move past product-led messaging and instead tell stories grounded in the everyday emotional realities of NRI life, with Relationship Managers positioned as the thread connecting personalised support to meaningful outcomes.
Kapil Batra, President, Creative at TBWA\Lintas, echoed this, noting that even when people move away from home, they rarely move away from the people in it. He credited creatives Nitin Sawant and Aryan Tank for shaping the narrative, and filmmaker Kamlesh Soni for bringing it to life through direction and casting.
The campaign will run across Meta, Display, YouTube, Connected TV, OTT and Spotify, targeting NRIs in the US, Canada, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Singapore.
