Colgate-Palmolive India Gets a New Chief as Narasimhan Steps Up to APAC Marketing

Colgate-Palmolive India has announced a leadership transition. Prabha Narasimhan has resigned as Managing Director & CEO, effective close of business on September 27, 2026, following her promotion to Executive Vice President, Marketing, Asia-Pacific Division, Colgate-Palmolive. She will also step down from the Company’s Board and its committee memberships from that date.

Manish Anandani has been appointed as the new Managing Director and CEO, effective September 28, 2026, for a five-year term approved on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.

During her four-year tenure, Narasimhan steered Colgate-Palmolive India through a transformative growth phase, accelerating premium portfolio growth to five times the pace of the broader market while delivering volume-led growth and industry-leading profitability. She also drove digital transformation, quick-commerce expansion, and efforts to build oral hygiene habits across urban and rural India. She joined Colgate in September 2022 from Hindustan Unilever, where she led the Home Care category as Executive Director.

Anandani joins from Kenvue (formerly Johnson & Johnson Consumer Health), where he was Managing Director for India and South Asia, and previously spent 13 years at Colgate-Palmolive between 2005 and 2018 across India, Indochina and the corporate office. With over 20 years of experience spanning PepsiCo, J&J and Colgate-Palmolive, he holds a degree in Electronics, an MBA in Marketing, and an Executive MBA in Leadership from Tuck School of Business.

The company said it is stepping up investment behind its brands as it looks to build on strong momentum in India’s oral care market.
