Gulf Oil Lubricants India has introduced a new brand platform for its motorcycle oil brand Gulf Pride, placing ambition-not engine capacity-at the heart of its latest campaign featuring long-time ambassador MS Dhoni.
Titled Kuch Behad Kar, the campaign is built around the thought “Sapna CC dekh kar nahi aata,” reflecting the aspirations of a new generation of Indian riders who refuse to let limited resources determine how far they can go.
The campaign draws from changing perceptions of success among young Indians, many of whom rely on two-wheelers for everyday commutes, livelihoods and long-distance journeys. From navigating crowded city roads to transporting goods and travelling through challenging rural terrain, riders often expect more from their motorcycles than their specifications suggest.
Gulf Pride aims to address this mindset by highlighting the importance of performance even for everyday, lower-CC motorcycles. Powered by Oxybitor technology, the lubricant is positioned around enhanced pick-up and engine performance, supporting riders who consistently push beyond the ordinary.
Conceptualised and directed by Curativity, the campaign will run across television, digital, social media, retail and on-ground activations. The platform will also extend into popular culture through Gulf Pride’s association with MTV Hustle Season 5, reinforcing the idea that ambition and talent should not be restricted by pedigree.
The brand is further expanding the thought through #BehadStories, a long-term digital initiative that will spotlight real riders, dreamers and achievers from across India.
Ravi Chawla, MD & CEO, Gulf Oil Lubricants India, said the brand wants to redefine performance for today’s rider, moving the conversation beyond engine size to determination and ambition.
With Kuch Behad Kar, Gulf Pride is seeking to make performance more inclusive—and more relevant to the aspirations of everyday India.
