Britannia Marie Gold has launched ‘My Pujo Moment of Gold’, a campaign inviting consumers across West Bengal to capture and share the moments that make their Pujo special. Instead of focusing only on grand celebrations, it puts the spotlight on the little things, such as family rituals, time with loved ones and conversations over cups of chai.
The brand has long been part of these small festive moments, from a newborn’s first Pujo to neighbourhood volunteers finally putting their feet up over tea, or grandparents passing festive stories to the youngest generation. Consumers can capture their “Moment of Gold” and share the golpo behind it. Siddharth Gupta, VP-Marketing, Britannia, said festivals bring people together, and the campaign celebrates the many things that make the season special.
Conceptualised by Schbang, the campaign comes alive through a digital film in which a young woman narrates the rituals that herald Pujo in a Bengali household, from trying on new clothes and growing shopping lists to late-night adda over cups of cha. Dipshikha Ravi, national creative director, Schbang, said the aim was to capture the anticipation of the festive period in a truly native sense, from dhaak rehearsals to pandal preparations.
To participate, consumers can scan the QR code on special-edition Britannia Marie Gold packs, upload a photograph of their Pujo moment and share its story in 50 words with #MyPujoMomentOfGold. Selected winners stand a chance to win a gold coin, subject to terms and conditions.
