Baskin Robbins has stepped into the waffle category with New York Loaded Waffles, a range that takes its dessert menu beyond ice cream. The range has four waffle sandwich combinations, with brownie, cheesecake and chocolate chips built into the waffle bases. Each comes with spreads, sauces and toppings, and can be had on its own or with ice cream.
The four options are the Blueberry ’N White Chocolate Waffle, Brownie ’N Nutella Choco Chip Waffle, Cheesecake & Lotus Biscoff Crumble Waffle and Chocolate Overload Waffle. Pairings include Blueberry Cheesecake Gelato, Chocolate & Roasted Hazelnut Gelato, Biscoff Ice Cream and Bavarian Chocolate Ice Cream. The first combines white chocolate spread, blueberry sauce and French biscuit flakes. The second adds Nutella and chocolate chips to a brownie-loaded base. The third pairs a cheesecake-loaded base with Lotus Biscoff spread and crumble, and the fourth uses milk chocolate spread and chocolate chips.
Mohit Khattar, CEO, Graviss Foods (Baskin Robbins India), said innovation is central to how the brand delights consumers. He called the waffles a fresh take on a familiar favourite, combining American flair and heritage with an understanding of Indian palates. He added that the launch widens the portfolio with international taste, texture and choice.
The waffles are available across more than 1,150 Baskin Robbins parlours in over 320 cities, starting at Rs 150 plus GST. They can also be ordered through Swiggy and Zomato.
