FOSSIL has appointed His Highness Sawai Padmanabh Singh as Global Ambassador for its new Signature Collection, unveiling the range at Jaipur’s City Palace. The partnership is introduced through a cinematic campaign filmed in Jaipur, built on the thought “As Distinct As Your Signature”.
The Signature line pairs FOSSIL’s American design heritage with elevated materials, precision engineering and Swiss watchmaking. Its debut collection, CS-1, stands for Case Study One, a nod to the American Case Study Houses program and its focus on purposeful design and material integrity. Melissa Lowenkron, Chief Brand Officer, said Signature opens a new chapter for the brand, and that Singh was a natural choice because he honours heritage in a personal, contemporary way.
The film is set against Jaipur’s architecture, showing Singh horseback riding, studying sundial blueprints and browsing his watch collection, with Signature timepieces woven naturally into each moment. Singh said the collection reflects his own approach to personal style and heritage.
CS-1 marks FOSSIL’s return to Swiss watchmaking. The 38mm Three-Hand Date Automatic runs on a Swiss automatic movement, while the 42mm Master Calendar Chronoquartz offers day, date, month and chronograph functions on a Swiss quartz movement. Both have domed sapphire crystals and the Triple Diamond Quality insignia. They are priced in India at Rs 57,995 and Rs 75,995.
