Grey 82.5 has announced a leadership transition, with Shouvik Roy set to take charge as Chief Executive Officer from December 1, 2026. He succeeds Kiran Ramamurthy, who moves on to lead VML India as CEO.

Roy returns to The Ogilvy Group after three decades in brand strategy, marketing transformation and business building. Ramamurthy is credited with driving transformation and significant business momentum during his tenure at Grey 82.5. Between now and December 1, he and Roy will work closely together to ensure a smooth handover across all client partnerships and operations.

VR Rajesh, CEO of The Ogilvy Group India, thanked Ramamurthy for his leadership and impact, and said Roy embodies the agency’s challenger ethos. He added that Roy pairs strategic depth with an entrepreneurial mindset and a proven record of building beloved brands, which will help drive business growth and creative excellence for clients. Grey 82.5 is part of The Ogilvy Group, a portfolio of distinct agency brands that retain their own identities.
