Licious has rebranded its heat-and-eat snacks and meals portfolio as Sizzl, bringing more than 80 products under a distinct identity built around flavour, convenience and easy meal preparation. The brand was unveiled in Mumbai on October 29, with Varun Dhawan and over 300 celebrities and content creators in attendance.
The launch was designed as an experience rather than a reveal. Guests took part in food challenges, kebab tastings, momo-making and fitness activities, giving the new brand a lively, hands-on debut.
The proposition is aimed at time-pressed consumers who want flavourful meat-based meals without cooking from scratch. According to Licious, Sizzl products are ready in 2 to 8 minutes, with delivery in 30 to 45 minutes. The company also highlights its ingredient positioning: no palm oil, artificial preservatives or soya fillers. The rebrand gives a wide range of snacks, starters, sides and meals a more recognisable identity within Licious’ larger business.
The strategic takeaway is that Licious is doing more than refreshing a product line. It is building a separate consumer brand around convenience-led meat consumption, which can improve recall, encourage cross-category discovery and extend usage beyond planned meals into snacking and entertaining. The real test will be whether Sizzl turns launch-day excitement into repeat purchases and earns a lasting place in everyday food routines.
