Signify has rolled out its Diwali campaign, #HarDiwaliPhilipsWaali, tracing how Philips lighting has evolved inside Indian homes across three generations. The idea is simple and relatable: a celebration that stays constant while the lights around it change.
The campaign film moves through the 1970s, the 2000s and the present day, following young couples celebrating their first Diwali in a new home. Along the way, it charts the shift from basic bulbs to voice-controlled smart lighting. The message anchoring it all reads, “Pehli Diwali badalti rahi. Roshni badalti rahi. Par bharosa Philips ka, har generation ke saath raha.”
Beyond the film, Signify has teamed up with lifestyle creators to highlight festive smart home transformations. It has also launched the #HarDiwaliPhilipsWaali Community Contest, where winners can take home a Philips Light Theatre system, inviting audiences to participate rather than just watch.
On the ground, interactive setups and festive displays are being rolled out across Philips Smart Light Hubs and partner stores nationwide, letting shoppers experience the range first-hand. Together, the film, creator collaborations, contest and in-store presence form a layered festive push that moves from storytelling to participation to purchase. By pairing a nostalgic family story with a tech-forward product narrative, Signify positions Philips as a constant presence in Indian homes, even as the way the country lights up Diwali keeps changing. The trust stays the same; only the glow gets smarter.
