AAAI Unveils Board for 2026-27 with Wider Agency Representation

The Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) has announced a new Board for 2026–27, bringing together independent agencies, regional businesses, creative leaders and major advertising and media networks. Dr Sandeep Goyal of Rediffusion Brand Solutions serves as president, with Jaydeep Gandhi of Another Idea as vice-president. The line-up aims to give agencies of different sizes, specialisations and geographies a stronger voice.

Independent agencies are represented by Punit Batra, Sunil Chhabra, Hemendra Parekh, Devang M. Gandhi and Anjan Chatterjee, alongside regional players Priyanka Chatterjee, K Srinivas, C Muthu and Kunal Lalani. Co-opted member Chatterjee, who has also built restaurant brands such as Oh! Calcutta and Mainland China, adds an entrepreneurial perspective. Josy Paul and Amitesh Rao strengthen creative expertise, while Lalatendu Das adds media capability.

Continuity remains central, with leaders such as Srinivasan K. Swamy, Sam Balsara, Prasanth Kumar, Dheeraj Sinha and Hephzibah Pathak continuing on the Board. Shashi Sinha and Vikram Sakhuja join as special invitees. Full-service agencies and major media networks stay represented.

Goyal said the Board combines established leaders and independent entrepreneurs, and that AAAI wants to reflect the industry’s full diversity. New initiatives across creative, media, and AI and technology, with a focus on independent agencies, will be announced in the coming week.
