Amazon.in Bets Big on Premium Beauty With 100+ New Global Brands in 2026

Amazon.in is significantly expanding its premium beauty portfolio, with plans to onboard over 100 international brands in 2026, responding to a sharp rise in demand for global beauty and grooming products across India.

The upcoming roster includes marquee names such as Dolce & Gabbana, Laura Mercier, Elemis, Urban Decay, Aveda, La Roche-Posay, Eucerin, and Paula’s Choice. The platform is also broadening its selection of Japanese, Australian, French, and Middle Eastern beauty and fragrance offerings.

The numbers tell a compelling story. Premium beauty on Amazon India is growing 50% year-on-year, with K-beauty and French pharmacy skincare nearly doubling in demand. Notably, over 50% of this premium consumption is now coming from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities – including Thrissur, Dehradun, Patiala, Guwahati, and Kolhapur – signalling that aspirational beauty is no longer a metro-only phenomenon.

“India’s beauty industry is shifting from availability-led shopping to intentional, discovery-led consumption,” said Siddharth Bhagat, Director – Beauty, Amazon India.

Delivery infrastructure is keeping pace too, with nearly half of all beauty orders across India’s top 100 cities now fulfilled same-day or next-day.

Men’s grooming is another standout, growing over 2.5 times year-on-year, driven by demand for multi-groomers and premium kits.

To power discovery, Amazon continues investing in AI tools – Rufus, Amazon Lens AI, Virtual Try-On, and SkinCare Advisor – helping shoppers navigate an increasingly sophisticated beauty landscape.
