BabyOrgano, an Ayurvedic wellness brand for kids, has launched its first brand film, moving beyond product-focused messaging to open up a conversation around contemporary Indian parenting and shared responsibility between partners.
The film captures a pivotal moment for a young family – a mother returning to work after maternity leave while a father steps into day-to-day childcare. Grounded in real-world insight, it addresses how the mental and emotional load of parenting still disproportionately falls on mothers, even in households that claim to practise equal partnership. Rather than leaning on idealised or stereotypical portrayals, the film takes a nuanced, human approach, celebrating a father who is actively learning and showing up as an equal. BabyOrgano’s Ayurvedic products appear organically within the family’s routine, reflecting the brand’s approach of blending wellness into everyday life rather than overt marketing.
Riddhi Sharma, Founder of BabyOrgano, said parenting is often described as an equal partnership, but the everyday weight of it quietly falls on mothers in most homes – and the film aims to let couples see themselves in that reality without being lectured to. Ripul Sharma, Co-founder, added that Ayurveda for the brand is about the small, safe choices parents make daily, and with over 5 million parents and 1,000+ doctors trusting BabyOrgano, the responsibility is to keep earning that trust through honest storytelling.
Conceptualised with creative agency Team Pumpkin and led by a predominantly female-led crew, the film was helmed by writer Rohit Prasannan and director Shruti Shrivastava, alongside DOP Siddharth G Dutta and producer Sanskriti Jain.
