Birla Opus Paints, part of Aditya Birla Group’s Grasim Industries, has launched a new Durga Pujo campaign showing how festive traditions bring families closer and reconnect people with their roots. Guided by the brand’s “Duniya Ko Rang Do” philosophy, the film explores the link between festivals, family and culture.
The story follows a young girl who returns to India after a long time and is initially hesitant to join her family’s Pujo celebrations. Slowly, familiar traditions draw her in. She makes alpona, tastes homemade nadu and plays with her cousins, discovering the joy of celebrating together. What starts as an unfamiliar experience becomes a celebration full of laughter and new memories. By the end, she has rediscovered her bond with home and is already looking forward to coming back next year.
The campaign highlights how festivals connect generations and turn shared customs into cherished memories. It also reinforces the brand’s belief that while colour can transform spaces, it is the people and memories within them that make a house feel like home.
Inderpreet Singh, Head of Marketing at Birla Opus Paints, said the film captures how celebrations create belonging across generations, adding that while homes may change, the traditions and relationships that colour them remain timeless. Sachin Kamble, Chief Creative Officer at Leo India, called Durga Pujo an emotion rather than just a festival, noting that culture lives on when the next generation embraces it in its own way. Conceptualised by Leo India and produced by SVF Entertainment, the film will be amplified across digital and social media platforms.
