Ranveer Singh has been named the first India brand ambassador for Ray-Ban and Ray-Ban Meta as Meta brings its next-generation AI glasses to the country. The partnership begins with the “Frame Your True Self” campaign, built around personal style, self-expression and wearable technology. Singh, who has worked with Meta before, said Ray-Ban has always stood for individuality, and that style for him is about instinct, mood and the freedom to express every version of himself.
The campaign coincides with the India launch of Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3, priced from ₹44,300. It offers a slimmer design, up to nine hours of battery life, a customisable action button for Meta AI and a six-microphone array the company says reduces over 90% of background noise. It comes in 27 colour and lens combinations across Aviator, Zena and Wayfarer, including a limited-edition Aviator marking the style’s 90th anniversary, and records 3K Ultra HD video with a 12MP camera.
Meta is also preparing to launch Ray-Ban Meta Audio in India. At 43 grams, it is the company’s lightest AI glasses, offering open-ear audio for music, podcasts and calls, with up to 12 hours of battery life and 48 more from the case.
In the coming months, Meta will add its personal AI agent, Muse, which users can summon hands-free by voice. Muse can act on what the wearer is looking at, such as a product on a shelf or a flyer, moving the glasses beyond audio and cameras towards a hands-free AI interface.
