Business Today has announced its partnership with the DP World Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) for the 27th season of BT Golf, unveiled at a preview event at the Qutub Golf Course, New Delhi. Cricketing icon and avid golfer Kapil Dev, President of DP World PGTI, joined professional golfers and senior editors for a pitch-and-putt session marking the return of the corporate golf property. The collaboration aims to make golf more visible, accessible and approachable, positioning the tour as the premier golfing destination for CXOs.
The partnership brings together Business Today’s deep connection with India’s business ecosystem and DP World PGTI’s professional tournament expertise. Together, they hope to drive mainstream visibility, deepen engagement among business professionals and bring the sport to a wider audience. The tournament will retain its multi-city format across major corporate hubs, with more locations planned.
Kapil Dev said, “We aim to encourage India Inc to experience the discipline, patience, and sportsmanship that golf represents.” Dinesh Bhatia, Group CEO, India Today Group, added that BT Golf has created a distinctive platform at the intersection of sport and business. Amandeep Johl, CEO, DP World PGTI, noted that the partnership will also help professional golfers build meaningful relationships with leading business leaders.
Alok Nair, Chief Operating Officer, Business Today, described BT Golf as India’s first corporate golf platform, running for 27 years. The 27th edition will span eight cities, beginning in Kolkata on 31st October at the iconic Tollygunge Club.
