For millions of Indian train travellers, a waitlisted ticket is one of life’s more reliable frustrations. ConfirmTkt thinks conversational AI can fix that – and it’s brought RCB’s star lineup to make the case.

ConfirmTkt, India’s leading train-ticketing platform, has launched AI Seat Finder – powered by TARA, an AI-native agent developed by ixigo – a conversational in-app feature designed to help users find confirmed train seats even when their preferred train is fully waitlisted. Available in Hindi and English, the feature activates the moment a user begins a train search, scanning real-time availability to surface confirmed alternatives across routes, boarding points, and departure times.
Rather than navigating multiple screens, users can now simply type queries like “Show me confirmed tickets after 5 PM” or “Which train reaches earliest?” and let the app do the rest. It’s a meaningful shift in a category where waitlist uncertainty has long driven drop-offs at the booking stage.
“Instead of navigating multiple options and screens, users can now simply express their intent and let the app guide them to the best possible journey.”
– Dinesh Kumar Kotha, CEO, ConfirmTkt & ixigo Trains
The launch is backed by a high-energy campaign – ‘Talk Travel Repeat: AI Seat Finder Dilayega Seat’ – featuring RCB players Virat Kohli, Rajat Patidar, and Venkatesh Iyer. Now in its third consecutive year as RCB’s Official Train Ticketing Partner, ConfirmTkt uses the cricket tie-up to reach a vast, travel-hungry audience. The humour-led ad film shows the feature in action and will run across television, digital, OOH, social media, and in-stadium integrations through the season.
With AI Seat Finder, ConfirmTkt is making a clear bet: that the future of train ticketing in India is not just smarter – it’s conversational.
