Himalaya BabyCare has launched a new campaign for its Gentle Baby Wash, centred on the worries that come with a baby’s first bath. The film is built as a conversation between a new mother and a nurse. As the mother prepares to take her newborn home, her uncertainty about what to use leads her to the nurse, who recommends Himalaya Gentle Baby Wash.
The film highlights the product’s no-tears, soap-free formula and its pH 5.5 balance. It also points to ingredients such as green gram and chickpea. According to the brand, the formulation is designed to cleanse delicate skin while helping it retain softness and hydration.
Chakravarthi N. V., Director of BabyCare at Himalaya Wellness Company, said a baby’s first experiences are emotional milestones for parents, often mixing joy with uncertainty. He noted that new-age parents are increasingly conscious of keeping harsh chemicals away from delicate skin and are looking for gentler, safer alternatives. The brand aims to reaffirm its role as a trusted partner through herb-enriched products backed by scientific research.
The mother’s uncertainty and the nurse’s reassurance carry the campaign’s central idea of trust. To reach parents across regions, the film has been released in eight languages: English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi and Bengali.
