Senior marketing and business leader Karan Kumar has launched Inflection, an independent advisory practice focused on business growth and leadership.
The practice operates through two verticals – Business Advisory and Executive Coaching – which Kumar says address distinct client needs and can be engaged independently.
The Business Advisory arm works with business owners and leaders across growth strategy, commercial strategy, brand and customer strategy, marketing transformation and go-to-market strategy. The Executive Coaching arm supports senior leaders, executives, founders and entrepreneurs navigating transition and complexity, focusing on leadership identity, decision-making and purpose and alignment.
“My work has increasingly taken me to moments where the obvious answer is not necessarily the right one,” said Kumar. “Businesses rarely struggle simply because they lack ideas, and leaders rarely struggle because they lack capability. Often, the constraint lies in what we have stopped questioning.”
Kumar brings over 25 years of experience spanning business growth, marketing, brand building and transformation, with leadership roles at ITC, Fabindia, DLF, ART Fertility Clinics and Hero Realty across consumer goods, retail, fashion, healthcare and real estate.
He has led business launches, brand-building and growth programmes, working closely with chairpersons and CEOs, and has also built formal expertise in executive coaching. Inflection is currently accepting select Business Advisory and Executive Coaching engagements with founders, CEOs and leadership teams.
