Merino Laminates Asks Consumers to See the Full Picture Before Choosing a Laminate

Merino Laminates has launched a pan-India campaign for Studio Merino, tackling a common problem: it is hard to imagine how a laminate will look across a full wardrobe, kitchen or other interior surface from a small sample. Conceptualised by WillBe Done, the campaign uses humour to compare picking a laminate from a tiny piece with buying a saree or necklace after seeing only a portion of it.

The films suggest that no one would make such purchases on a partial view, yet that is how many people choose the surfaces of their homes. The campaign focuses on the gap between liking a sample and feeling confident about the finished space, and it encourages consumers to view shortlisted designs at full size at Studio Merino before deciding.

Parveen Gupta, chief marketing officer, Merino Industries, said consumers can shortlist a design they like and still be unsure how it will look across a wardrobe or kitchen. Full-size viewing at Studio Merino addresses this gap, and with 250+ outlets across India, it is just a step away. Tanul Bhartiya, founder, WillBe Done, said a small glimpse never gives the full picture. The idea was shaped for the scroll from the first line, he added, and Merino is asking people not to buy better laminates, but to buy differently.

The campaign is live across OTT platforms, social media and other digital platforms. Consumers can view shortlisted laminate designs at full size at Studio Merino outlets across India.
