Nestlé Professional Opens First NESCAFÉ Kiosk at Thrissur Railway Station

Nestlé Professional, the out-of-home business arm of Nestlé India, has opened a NESCAFÉ kiosk at Thrissur Railway Station in Kerala, marking the company’s first outlet under its new partnership with Indian Railways.

The move is aimed at deepening Nestlé Professional’s footprint in the travel segment, giving passengers access to food and beverage options as part of their journey.

Saurabh Makhija, Head of Nestlé Professional, said Indian Railways reaches millions of Indians daily and holds a deep well of consumer trust, calling the association a matter of pride for the company. He added that the Thrissur outlet is meant to offer travellers a familiar, comforting experience through quality coffee and dependable food and beverage choices on the go.

Jinraj Adyanthaya, Sales Head at Nestlé Professional, described railways as a critical channel for the business given its scale and daily reach across moving consumers. He said the Indian Railways tie-up will help the company widen its presence across the rail network and bring a broader range of Nestlé’s offerings to travellers, with plans to bid for tenders across as many railway divisions nationwide as possible. All outlets, he noted, will run through Nestlé-authorised operators to maintain consistent quality and service standards.

The Thrissur kiosk serves both hot and cold coffee beverages alongside a curated food selection. The launch builds on Nestlé Professional’s Retail ONE network, which the company says has now crossed 1,000 kiosks across India, spanning educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and travel hubs.
