OPPO India has rolled out a new cricket-led digital campaign, ‘Hat-trick Ki Tayyari’, to build momentum for its recently launched Reno15 Series ahead of the T20 World Cup and the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL). Timed with the World Cup kick-off on February 7, the campaign draws on the nation’s collective excitement around cricket and the growing buzz around a potential historic hat-trick, fuelled by recent successes in Indian men’s and women’s cricket.
Fronted by Indian cricketers Tilak Varma and Arshdeep Singh, along with digital creator and cricket commentator Sahiba Bali, the campaign blends humour, banter and everyday fan behavior to place OPPO at the heart of how cricket is experienced beyond the field. Designed as a series of short, engaging films, the campaign mirrors contemporary content consumption habits and social-first storytelling.
Each film opens with Sahiba Bali’s playful question, “Hat-trick ki tayyari kaise karte hain?”, setting the stage for a set of unconventional preparation challenges. Acting as an unexpected coach, Sahiba nudges Tilak and Arshdeep into quirky, desi games such as Twister and childhood favourite Seven Stones (Pithu), turning them into light-hearted moments that test reflexes, build camaraderie and spark spontaneous humour.
The campaign comprises four 20-second films, rolling out between January 29 and February 2, 2026, across OPPO India’s social media platforms, with extended reach on YouTube and OTT platforms. The first film is already live on Tilak Varma’s social handles.
The Reno15 Series’ imaging strengths are woven seamlessly into the narrative, showcasing features like telephoto zoom, 4K 60fps video and AI Pop-Out in real-life scenarios. Powered by ColorOS, the series enables effortless shooting, editing and sharing, reinforcing OPPO’s positioning at the intersection of cricket culture, creativity and modern content creation.
