Prime Video has announced that the second season of its hit reality series The Traitors will premiere globally on August 13, with new episodes releasing every Thursday. Hosted once again by Karan Johar, the upcoming season will feature 21 celebrities competing in a high-stakes game of trust, betrayal and strategy.
Produced by Dharmatic Entertainment in collaboration with All3Media International, the Indian adaptation is based on the globally acclaimed reality format that has been adapted across more than 40 countries. Building on the success of its debut season, the new edition promises more intense gameplay, unexpected twists and psychological drama.
Commenting on the announcement, Nikhil Madhok, Director and Head of Originals at Prime Video India, said the show’s first season evolved into a cultural phenomenon, redefining the reality entertainment space with its unique blend of strategy and suspense. He added that the new season raises the stakes with sharper gameplay, bigger drama and an exciting new celebrity lineup.

With Karan Johar returning as host, The Traitors Season 2 aims to build on its successful debut and further strengthen its position as one of India’s biggest reality entertainment franchises.
