OpenAI has partnered with Sachin Tendulkar on a multi-year collaboration to show how people can use ChatGPT in their personal and professional lives. The partnership will include content, campaigns and experiences built around how Tendulkar uses the tool to learn, develop ideas and explore his interests.
Tendulkar says his daughter Sara introduced him to ChatGPT while he was planning a family holiday. Today, he uses it to prepare, organise and refine his ideas, and to explore interests like cars, golf and cooking. He said his learning often starts with a question, and the tool lets him keep asking and build at his own pace.
Prabhjeet Singh, managing director for India at OpenAI, said the aim is to help more people see what AI can do for them and feel confident using it. He believes Tendulkar’s connection with generations of Indians makes him the right person to show a starting point.
The collaboration opens with a teaser in which Tendulkar asks ChatGPT to identify him through 10 questions. More videos with him and creator Varun Mayya will follow. According to OpenAI, twice as many people in India use ChatGPT today as last year, mostly for writing, learning and finding information.
