Samsung TV Plus has strengthened its children’s entertainment portfolio in India with the addition of Green Gold TV, a dedicated free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) channel from Green Gold Animation. The launch marks the animation studio’s entry into the connected TV FAST ecosystem, a rapidly growing segment that combines traditional television-style programming with digital streaming supported by advertising.
Available under the Kids category on Samsung TV Plus, Green Gold TV can be accessed by Samsung TV users without subscription fees, registrations, or sign-ins. The 24×7 channel will showcase a range of Green Gold Animation’s popular titles, including Mighty Raju, Super Bheem, Krishna Balram, Krishna, Chorr Police, and Luv Kushh.
According to the company, weekday schedules will primarily feature episodic programming, while weekends will be dedicated to animated movies. Initially launching in Hindi, the channel is designed to cater to both children and family audiences.
Green Gold Animation founder and CEO Rajiv Chilaka said the partnership reflects evolving viewer preferences and the increasing demand for accessible content across connected devices. He noted that FAST platforms are emerging as an important distribution channel within the entertainment industry.
For Samsung TV Plus, the addition of Green Gold TV further enhances its curated content offering for younger viewers.
