Sony MAX has announced a celebration marking 25 years of Aamir Khan Productions, honouring a legacy that has shaped Indian storytelling.
Guided by its “Deewana Bana De” philosophy, Sony MAX has long championed blockbuster entertainment, making this collaboration a natural fit between a channel built on celebrating films and a production house known for purpose-driven storytelling.
On 28th June 2026, Sony MAX will host a day-long showcase of landmark titles, including the underdog triumph of Lagaan, the heartfelt journey of Taare Zameen Par, the empowering spirit of Secret Superstar, and the warmth of Sitaare Zameen Par – films that continue to resonate with audiences well beyond their theatrical runs.
The celebration also features an exclusive brand film, “Match Made in Heaven,” featuring Aamir Khan, created for Sony MAX viewers. The film frames the collaboration as a meeting of Aamir Khan’s passion for meaningful cinema and Sony MAX’s devotion to films that stay with audiences long after the credits roll, honouring the bond between his work and his fans over the years.
