Ugaoo Casts Jackie and Tiger Shroff as Rivals in a Father-Son Plant Parenting Comedy

Ugaoo has brought together father-son duo Jackie and Tiger Shroff for a campaign that plays on humour to reframe “plant parenting” as an easier, more relatable idea.

The film leans on Jackie Shroff’s well-known love for plants, imagining Tiger’s childhood as a lifelong competition for his father’s attention – with Tiger’s backflips, bodybuilding and flexibility humorously reframed as byproducts of trying to out-compete Jackie’s plants.

Conceptualised and produced by Kulfi Collective, with White Rivers Media as digital partner, the campaign positions Ugaoo’s plants and gardening products around a core brand promise: plant care doesn’t have to be demanding.

Siddhant Bhalinge, Founder & CEO, Ugaoo, said the film builds on Jackie’s genuine love for plants, with Tiger adding his own playful perspective to the story.

Jackie Shroff said the association feels natural given plants have long been part of his life, adding he’s enjoyed being able to talk about something he genuinely cares about over the past year.

Akshat Gupt of Kulfi Collective said the idea was to build a story equally true to both father and son, using exaggerated versions of themselves to land the brand message with humour and heart, while keeping the father-son dynamic at its centre.
