WPP OpenDoor and Snapchat India are bringing Prime Video’s historical series The Revolutionaries closer to Gen Z through creators, AR and immersive storytelling. Ahead of the series premiere, the partners hosted an interactive Creator Watch Party at Snapchat’s Mumbai headquarters, bringing together cast members Pratibha Ranta, Bhuvan Bam, Rohit Saraf and Gurfateh Pirzada with Gen Z Snapstars.
The event gave creators an early look at the series, unseen footage and behind-the-scenes insights into director Nikkhil Advani’s vision. The experience extended beyond viewing, turning the show’s themes of courage and rebellion into participatory content. Cast members and creators explored the campaign together while producing digital, social-first content.
At the centre of the experience was a custom Snapchat AR Lens inspired by the series. The Lens allows users to discover their own “Sarfiraattitude”, transforming them into modern-day revolutionaries through dynamic overlays and effects inspired by the fearlessness of India’s freedom fighters. The Creator Day also featured cast-creator collaborations, interactive challenges and formats built around courage, conviction and rebellion.
The campaign also included a behind-the-scenes panel, where the cast discussed the research, preparation and emotional journeys involved in portraying young revolutionaries. By combining creator collaboration, AR technology and immersive storytelling, WPP OpenDoor and Snapchat have translated a period drama into a social-first experience, encouraging Gen Z audiences to engage with its themes rather than simply watch them.
