BMW India has named actor Ranveer Singh as its Brand Voice, unveiling the association alongside the launch of the new BMW 7 Series flagship range in Gurugram on September 11.
Singh made his entrance at the launch by arriving in the BMW i7 M70, the range-topping model in the new 7 Series lineup, before unveiling the car himself. The partnership kicks off with this launch, with Singh set to feature across BMW India’s brand communication built around individuality, emotional connection and the experience of driving.
BMW India said the actor brings a genuine personal enthusiasm for driving to the tie-up, aligning with the brand’s broader positioning around innovation, performance and distinctive design. The company added that the association is meant to connect the new 7 Series with people who pursue excellence and leave a mark in their own fields – a framing that fits neatly with Singh’s own public persona.
Adding weight to the pairing is Singh’s well-documented love for high-performance cars. His personal garage reportedly includes a Ferrari 296 GTB, a GMC Hummer EV 3X, a Range Rover Autobiography and a Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600, making him a credible face for a luxury auto brand rather than a purely promotional pick.
The announcement also lands at a high point in Singh’s career, coming right after the success of Dhurandhar. He has since moved on to his next project, Pralay – a survival drama set in a pandemic-and-zombie-ravaged near-future Mumbai, directed by Jai Mehta and co-starring Kalyani Priyadarshan, currently in production with no release date confirmed yet.
