Amul Cracks the Protein Snack Code With High Protein Cubes

Amul has spent years helping Indians meet their daily protein needs, with a target of at least 1 g of protein per kg of body weight. Now it is bringing that mission to savoury snacks with Amul High Protein Cubes, a crunchy snack that packs 65% protein.

The numbers are the headline. A 38 g pack delivers 25 g of protein for just 150 kcal, priced at Rs 80. That puts it on par with a scoop of protein powder in both protein and calories. The brief was to make snacking functional with high-quality protein and controlled calories, and after over a year of R&D, Amul says it has cracked it.

Each box holds five single-serve packs, along with five tastemaker sachets in Peri Peri, Korean Kimchi, Tandoori, Cheese & Herbs and Tomato flavours. To eat, pour a sachet into the pack, give it a shake, and the seasoning-coated crunchy snack is ready.

The cubes are also built for experimenting. They can be dropped into gravies for protein-rich meals, added to soups for a crouton-like bite, or tossed into a quick, crunchy bhel with onions, tomatoes and chutneys. Amul is inviting consumers to share their own inventive ways of eating them. Amul High Protein Cubes are available now on the Amul Shop app and website.
