Bengaluru-based direct-to-consumer insurer ACKO has rolled out a national campaign for ACKO Health Insurance, “For People Who Don’t Compromise,” built around the Hindi line “Unke liye jo compromise nahi karte.” The campaign is live across digital and social platforms, with a broader media push to follow.
Rather than leaning on hospitalisation visuals or fear-based messaging, ACKO built the campaign around small, everyday acts of discipline – skipping dessert, choosing stairs over lifts, picking water over sugary drinks. Three films feature popular creators instead of film actors: JordIndian’s Naser Al Azzeh and Vineeth Kumar play out an office birthday scene where a slice of cake gets turned down; Vishakha Biswas and Divesh Khatri skip the elevator for stairs after a grocery run; and Biji Basheer’s family chooses water over energy drinks post-match. Each film plays the temptation against the romantic classic “Baahon Mein Chale Aao,” using the mismatch for effect before the protagonist opts for the healthier choice.
Nitin Khanna, ACKO’s Chief Marketing Officer, said customer-first thinking is the company’s operating principle, adding that the brand wants insurance to match the effort customers already put into staying healthy – celebrating quiet discipline rather than selling fear.
The insurance offering backing the campaign includes 100% bill payment, zero deductions, and cashless claims at top hospitals in a customer’s city, delivered through ACKO’s agent-free, direct-to-customer model.
By tying everyday willpower to its policy design, ACKO frames health insurance as a natural extension of habits customers already practise – not a product tied to worst-case scenarios.
