Fashion e-commerce platform AJIO has launched a new advertising campaign for its annual Big Bold Sale, which commenced on May 27, marking a notable strategic shift from discount-led messaging to speed-driven storytelling.

The campaign features Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor reprising her role as AJIO’s fashion ambassador, alongside actors Ayush Mehra and Niti Taylor. The narrative centres on a relatable scenario – a spontaneous vacation plan triggers a last-minute wardrobe panic, which Kapoor resolves by highlighting AJIO’s same-day delivery capability. The creative execution positions impulse shopping not as a problem but as a seamlessly solvable one.

The campaign serves as a vehicle to spotlight AJIO Rush, the platform’s rapid delivery service that promises fulfilment within four hours across select locations. Originally launched in six cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad, AJIO Rush has since expanded to over 600 cities – a scale that makes same-day fashion delivery a credible mass-market proposition rather than a niche urban perk.

The campaign reflects a broader industry shift, as fashion e-commerce increasingly converges with quick-commerce behaviour. Impulse-driven purchases, once the domain of groceries and personal care, are now reshaping how consumers approach apparel shopping.

AJIO is not alone in this space. Myntra entered rapid fashion delivery with its M-Now service in late 2024, initially offering 30-minute deliveries in Bengaluru before expanding further. Emerging players such as Slikk, NEWME, and KNOT are also competing in the fast-fashion delivery segment, signalling that speed has become the new frontier of fashion retail differentiation.
