Acer is taking its association with Akshay Kumar beyond conventional endorsement through a strategic collaboration for its Acer Fashion luggage business. Announced in Mumbai on October 8, 2026, the partnership pairs Acer’s focus on design, innovation and functionality with the actor’s experience as a frequent traveller and his association with performance and versatility.
The collaboration grew out of Akshay’s own use of the range. Travel is central to his professional and personal life, and he found the luggage matched what he looks for: practical design, ease of use, durability and a contemporary look. That natural fit has now evolved into a deeper partnership, with the actor closely tied to the category’s journey. He will also share insights that could shape future luggage collections.
Harish Kohli, President and Managing Director of Acer India Group, said the company sees Akshay not just as the face of Acer Fashion luggage but as a partner in shaping the business, including future product lines. Akshay said the association feels organic, adding that he is excited to be part of the journey as the category grows and to contribute his own ideas.
The move comes as Acer marks 50 years globally and 27 years in India, expanding from personal computing into a wider ecosystem of technology, home and lifestyle products.
