The Dharampal Satyapal (DS) Group has expanded its ‘Living Billboard’ campaign to Mumbai, building on the success of its earlier rollout in Delhi. The initiative is part of the company’s broader push to promote sustainability and drive public awareness around environmental responsibility.
At the heart of the Mumbai activation is a large-scale green installation made using over 3,500 live plants. Strategically placed along the Western Express Highway near the Bandra-Worli Sea Link toll plaza, the billboard serves as a striking visual intervention in a high-traffic urban setting. Designed to blend nature with outdoor media, the installation aims to spark conversations around the importance of urban greenery and encourage citizens to take small but meaningful steps towards sustainability.
The campaign mirrors DS Group’s earlier execution in Delhi, reinforcing its intent to create greener cityscapes through impactful, awareness-led initiatives. By transforming a traditional advertising format into a living, breathing structure, the brand seeks to demonstrate how everyday spaces can be reimagined for environmental impact.
Commenting on the initiative, Rajiv Kumar, Vice Chairman of DS Group, emphasised that sustainability is a long-term responsibility rather than a one-time effort. He highlighted the role of businesses in driving environmental action and underlined the importance of public awareness in building a more sustainable future.
Through ‘Living Billboard’, DS Group positions itself at the intersection of brand communication and environmental advocacy, using innovation to amplify its commitment to a greener planet.
