Conceptualised by Piyush Pandey, the film is being regarded as his final creative association with the brand. True to Fevicol’s storytelling legacy, the campaign draws from everyday observations, using humour to explore how a chair represents authority, ambition and transition across homes, offices and institutions.
The narrative captures familiar scenarios where the “kursi” becomes more than just furniture-it turns into a silent marker of power and aspiration. Through light-hearted, situational storytelling, the film reflects shifting dynamics in relationships and hierarchy, making the insight instantly relatable.
Leaders at Pidilite Industries highlighted that the campaign stays rooted in Fevicol’s long-standing approach of turning simple human truths into memorable narratives. The film not only reinforces the brand’s identity but also pays tribute to Pandey’s ability to elevate everyday moments into iconic advertising.
Directed by Prasoon Pandey and developed with Ogilvy India, the campaign holds emotional significance for the teams involved, who described it as both a creative challenge and a homage.
More than just another ad, “Kursi Pe Nazar” stands as a continuation of a legacy-where humour meets insight, and ordinary objects reveal deeper truths about society.
