How Hilti India Is Rewinding the Story to Spotlight Its Engineers

To mark National Engineers’ Day, Hilti India has released REWIND, a brand film that pays tribute to the engineers shaping the country’s infrastructure. Rather than showcasing finished landmarks, the film runs in reverse – starting with completed buildings, bridges, tunnels, airports and highways, then travelling back to the sketches, calculations and problem-solving that made them possible.

The idea driving the film is simple but powerful: everything that exists today, once did not. REWIND uses this thought to shift the spotlight away from structures themselves and onto the people who conceived them, long before the first brick was laid.

Jayant Kumar, General Manager and Managing Director, Hilti India, said every structure starts with an idea, a problem to solve, or a possibility someone decides to chase. Through this film, Hilti wanted to celebrate the vision and expertise of engineers who convert those possibilities into reality. He added that as India works towards its Viksit Bharat ambitions, engineers are central to building the infrastructure that will shape the nation’s future, and Hilti – guided by its purpose of Making Construction Better – is proud to stand alongside the people building a stronger India.

Produced in Hindi with English subtitles, REWIND will also roll out in Marathi, Bengali, Tamil and Malayalam, extending its reach across regional audiences. The film is live across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, positioning Hilti’s engineering-first narrative squarely within India’s growing infrastructure story.
