Kansai Nerolac’s ‘Noor-e-Kashmir’ Turns 12 Homes Into a Tribute to Kashmiri Craftsmanship

Kansai Nerolac Paints Limited (KNPL) has launched ‘Noor-e-Kashmir,’ a new digital series celebrating the homes of Kashmir and the people, craftsmanship and stories that shape them. Moving beyond the region’s landscapes, the series explores its architecture, positioning homes as central to Kashmiri culture, where families gather, guests are welcomed and communities connect.

Shortlisted in collaboration with a Kashmir-based architect, the series features 12 homes chosen for their individuality, each reflecting the region’s design sensibilities and relationship with colour and nature. Rather than focusing only on finished spaces, each episode traces the process behind them, spotlighting homeowner choices, dealer expertise and contractor craftsmanship.

Pravin Chaudhari, Managing Director at Kansai Nerolac, said Kashmir remains an important market for the brand given its strong regional appreciation for colour and craftsmanship, adding that the series reflects the company’s effort to deepen ties with consumers and its dealer-contractor network. The episodes will roll out across Nerolac’s owned digital platforms, led by YouTube, using Nerolac Impressions Kashmir, Excel Everlast, and the Gloria and ICRO ranges. Each contractor is also recognised as a ‘Noor-e-Kashmir Contractor.’

Ramkrishna Naik, CMO at Kansai Nerolac, said the series is as much about people as paint, framing colour as something that energises both spaces and lives. The stories will culminate in a ‘Noor-e-Kashmir Colour Book.’
