Kingfisher Premium Packaged Drinking Water has partnered with JioStar to revive the Kingfisher Good Times Hangout for the TATA IPL playoffs, bringing an alternate commentary experience to viewers on JioHotstar from May 26 to May 31, 2026.
The dedicated feed pairs former cricket stalwarts Harbhajan Singh and Suresh Raina with some of India’s most popular comedic voices – Danish Sait, Angad Singh Ranyal, and Gurleen Pannu – alongside presenters Aanchal Agarwal and RJ Mantra. The result is a broadcast that blends cricket analysis with humour, cultural references, and informal conversation, designed specifically for younger audiences seeking a more engaging viewing experience.
Viewers can access the feed through the Audio & Subtitles option while streaming live playoff matches on JioHotstar. The format builds on its successful debut during the Women’s Premier League earlier this year.
Vikram Bahl, CMO, United Breweries, said: “Cricket in India is never just about the sport – it’s about the moments you share while watching it. Bringing together cricket’s biggest names and the country’s most loved comedians is our way of saying this is what Good Times look like.”
Anup Govindan, Head of Sales, Sports, JioStar, added: “The Kingfisher Good Times Hangout goes beyond visibility – it creates experiences that fans genuinely value. A commentary feed blending cricket expertise with real entertainment is a genuinely differentiated way to show up during the playoffs.”
The initiative reinforces Kingfisher’s positioning as a brand that lives at the intersection of sport, culture, and shared experience.
