redBus Launches New Campaign to Show How Bus Travel Is Changing

redBus has launched its new brand campaign, “Bus Travel Ka Tareeka Badal Raha Hai”, to show how technology is reshaping the way people experience bus journeys. The campaign is built on the insight that Gen Z and younger travellers bring the same problem-solving mindset from their digital lives to travel, looking for more choice, convenience, control and confidence at every step.

Designed as a phased campaign, it comprises six films that use humour and relatable situations to spotlight everyday travel features. The first phase, rolling out in the first week of October, features two films. The first centres on in-bus toilets, where a young man’s private phone call takes an unexpected turn as he steps out of what looks like a regular bathroom. The second highlights flexible boarding and dropping points through a playful twist involving a woman seeing off one man, only to greet another with roses as a second bus arrives.

The films will run across YouTube, Meta, OTT platforms, CTV and regional TV in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Odisha, along with the India vs West Indies cricket series on JioHotstar. They are available in 10 languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Odia and Punjabi.

Pallavi Chopra, Chief Marketing Officer, redBus, said the brand wanted to give the steady change in bus travel a simple and memorable creative expression. She added that humour makes these moments engaging and culturally familiar, and that the brand hopes to keep finding fresh stories as the campaign unfolds in phases.
