The Times of India Metro Supplements has unveiled GRID OF THE UNSEEN, a new cultural intellectual property (IP) aimed at celebrating emerging artists and strengthening conversations around contemporary creativity and culture.
Launched on World Art Day 2026 in collaboration with creative platform STRT91, the initiative is designed to provide visibility to artists whose work often exists outside traditional gallery systems and mainstream cultural spaces. The launch edition debuted through a full-page showcase across The Times of India Metro Supplements, marking the beginning of a larger multi-platform cultural initiative spanning print, digital, and on-ground experiences.
Positioned as a discovery-led platform, GRID OF THE UNSEEN seeks to connect audiences with fresh artistic voices while building a stronger bridge between creativity, culture, and community. The initiative will continue to feature artists from diverse disciplines and styles, while future digital integrations will offer deeper access to each creator’s work and journey.
Commenting on the collaboration, Imran Shamsi, Founder of STRT91 and What Works, said the platform is rooted in supporting artists before mainstream recognition arrives. He noted that some of the most authentic creativity emerges from independent and grassroots communities, making initiatives like GRID OF THE UNSEEN essential for nurturing cultural talent.
Sivakumar Sundaram, CEO, Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd., said the initiative reflects the publication’s commitment to creating meaningful cultural spaces for emerging talent and strengthening its engagement with modern audiences.
With GRID OF THE UNSEEN, The Times of India Metro Supplements continues to expand its cultural footprint through community-driven and trend-forward creative initiatives.
