Veeba has stepped into new territory with the launch of Veeba Heritage, marking its first entry into the chutney category. The debut range opens with two offerings, Chunky Mango Chutney and Tomato Date Chutney, each built around regional Indian flavour profiles and positioned as a ready-to-use companion for everyday meals rather than an occasional condiment.
The range will be available across quick commerce platforms, Veeba’s own D2C channels, and modern trade outlets nationwide, giving it broad reach across how urban Indian households already shop for food.
Viraj Bahl, founder and managing director of VRB Consumer Products, framed the launch around India’s unmatched culinary diversity, noting how dramatically taste and technique shift across even short distances, with the same ingredient carrying entirely different meanings depending on local produce, method, and sense of balance. That regional depth, he said, is the foundation Veeba Heritage draws from. He added that the brand’s ambition is to bring some of these distinct regional expressions to modern tables, packaged in a format that fits how people actually eat today.
Supporting the launch is a digital campaign spotlighting the flavours and culinary traditions behind the range, aiming to root the products in cultural context rather than treating them as just another shelf addition.
With its first two chutneys, Veeba has planted a flag in a category deeply tied to India’s food identity, while signalling intent to expand further into regional flavours, formats, and everyday convenience as the range grows.
