Quick commerce platform Zepto is marking its fifth anniversary with a personalised in-app experience that lets users revisit the company’s journey alongside their own. As part of the celebration, the platform has introduced a birthday reel that combines Zepto’s milestones with each customer’s order history.

Available within the app, the illustrated reel traces Zepto’s evolution from its launch in 2021, when founders Aadit Palicha and Kaivalya Vohra introduced the promise of grocery deliveries in minutes. It then highlights key milestones over the years, including the expansion to more than 250 dark stores and 2.5 lakh daily orders in 2022, the addition of 80,000+ products in 2023, the launch and growth of Zepto Café in 2024, and the achievement of 25 lakh orders in a single day by 2025.

What makes the campaign unique is its personalised approach. Each reel is customised using individual user data, including the city they order from, the year they placed their first order, and their total number of orders, ensuring every customer sees a version tailored to their own journey with the platform.
