Underneat, founded by creator Kusha Kapila and fashion veteran Vimarsh Razdan, has stepped beyond shapewear for the first time with CoolRest, a new comfortwear collection fronted by actor Sonam Bajwa.
The campaign is built around everyday, unhurried moments – lounging, travelling, sleeping, resting – with bamboo positioned as the collection’s core fabric. The brand is leaning into bamboo’s breathability, moisture-wicking, and thermoregulating properties as the range’s key comfort proposition.
CoolRest includes five pieces: a Scoop Bralette, Slip-on Bra, Briefs, Boy Shorts, and Camisole, all designed wire-free and hardware-free to keep the focus squarely on ease.
Kusha Kapila and Vimarsh Razdan said the collection was built to reframe comfort as more of a mindset than a product spec, with the campaign designed to celebrate slowing down and finding ease in ordinary moments. They added that every part of the collection was shaped around that idea, and that Sonam Bajwa’s effortless, authentic presence made her the natural face for the range.
The campaign film tracks Bajwa through the small, unremarkable stretches of an ordinary day, using her everyday movements to anchor the collection’s comfort-first positioning rather than leaning on a conventional glamour-led approach.
CoolRest is available on Underneat’s own website as well as through marketplace partners Nykaa, Myntra, Amazon, and Blinkit, giving the brand’s first non-shapewear line a wide distribution footprint right out of the gate.
